Ian Pryde
This indie-folk singer-songwriter grew up in Montreal approximately two decades ago. He’s since lived in Lisbon, Washington DC, Chicago and London. There are four records currently available for sale on Indmill; The ep, "Rose Ropes", recorded in 2004, IP’s first full length album, "Songs of Want, Fear and Betrayal", recorded in 2005; "English Girl", recorded in 2006 and "Cullerton & May", recorded in 2007. The music has been compared to that of Syd Barrett, Skip Spence and Elliott Smith. Ian Pryde has been a semi-finalist in the Nashville-based International Songwriting Competition.
